    • Well, I can’t take credit for the door, it was just standing there :D. This is not the highlight of the church Santa Maria degli Angioli, but I think those are the most photogenic frescoes, although they were done by some anonymous artist from the Baroque period.

    • And I can guess why :), probably cause of the entrance into the other part of the church :). Thank you, Madhu.

  1. Gorgeous Paula and a great take on the challenge. Loved the music too hon. Thanks for sharing. 😀 *hugs*

  2. Stunning photos of a wonderful antique masterpiece…..I just can’t settle on a favourite as both are wonderful in ther own way, and both are beautifully composed 🙂

    • Well, thank you dear IT 🙂 I hope I did it justice ;). Have a wonderful weekend with your lovely family.

  3. Dear Paula,
oh dear, I am actually not such a friend of these kind of frescoes, too crowded for me and most of them are alike by depicting similar senes. But what I find interesting is the perspective you choose to photograph them. I was a bit puzzled with that door to the outside. It looks that different from those two angles: you see a background and you don`t. Your two perspectives made that fresco interesting for me.
    Enjoy the weekend

    • Dear Klausbernd, you have no idea how much I appreciate this honest comment and your compliment :). Hope that your week has started well. Hugs, Paula

  4. Hi dear Paula, you obviously hit Lugano on a very hot, humid day. The climate is so important to our wellbeing, there’s nothing that knocks me out more than the very hot and the very humid. Give me the North and the freshness of the sea! 🙂 I have already commented on your fine way of reflecting the scenes in the church, I just wanted to add that you have picked just the right music to go along. Have a great week and enjoy the cooler weather. 😉
In Bonn it’s raining at the moment, grey and pleasantly far away from a heat wave… 🙂
    Big hug to you♥
