Thursday’s Special: Pepezela! Yebo! i.e. Get me out of here! Yes!

Regina is a Ferruginous Buzzard that found its home on the hamlet of Vezio overhanging Varenna on the shores of Lake Como in Italy.

She spends most of her time caged in, and that’s where I found her on a late Summer afternoon screaming her lungs out and begging to be let go….

**About Thursday’s Special: It is a new ‘non-challenge’ challenge that appeals to bloggers eager to wake up their creativity and show their own ideas and interpretation of the world. I invite everybody interested to join in. There are no themes, titles and techniques set for your expression, there are no limits and restrictions (no red tape whatsoever). The only thing required is to post a photo post on Thursdays entitled “Thursday’s Special: (your theme/title)” (as explained in my Thursday’s Special introductory post), to provide a link to my Thursday’s Special post, and to leave a link to your post in the comments section of my post. If you like Thursday’s Special widget, feel free to grab it and post it on your blog.

  1. Oh, she is gorgeous and what a shame that she is caged in. You portrayed her so well Paula. Loved the music hon. Thanks for sharing. 😀 *big hugs*

    • Thank you so much Sophia. It was not easy to do it in a very poor dusk light and through the cage with crowds of people trying to peak at her and pushing me 😀

  5. Hi Paula, I don’t want to wake you up, but I think Opalla is calling a virtual tea party 🙂 Go read her comment. I am saving the cake for you 🙂 🙂

    • Look at her tongue 😀 This was the first time I spotted a birds tongue. I had a blast 🙂 Regina is the bird’s name 🙂

  6. Is it a zoo cage or an animal shelter. I’ve seen hospices where wild birds of prey have been found injured or in peril, brought in and nursed back to health before being set free again.

            • Awww, you have touched me 🙂 Listening to rain and thunder now…. nice piano…. more nice piano….. and a silvery voice, more thunder, YOU ARE A TALENT!!!!! Thank you for this incredible gift. What did I do to deserve this. You have made my day dear Jasmine 🙂

              • Well your support means so much to me. I have been so lucky to have a World Press family that just encourages me to step out of my comfort zone. Not just musically but spiritually. Thank you for your support! It means a lot to me.

                • Well, I am honoured to have met you and had the opportunity to listen the whole song. That means a LOT to me 🙂 Thank you girl!

                  • Your so very welcome! It’s a REAL pleasure to have such a friendly encouraging friend!

              • I do. I’m the tortured soul behind the lyrics and piano. I’ve been writing for 10 years so I feel I have FINALLY found my pen. You know…

                • You write, you play the piano and you sing? And you have a toddler, and you find time to reading comments.. you have put all the multitasking womankind to shame 😀

                  • LOL I drink! No it’s easy to juggle once your used to it. I will say that all this stuff in Washington has hampered my creative flow. My husband is furloughed so were biting our nails here! Every woman is a multitasking MACHINE!

      • I LOVE the song! Amazing!!! Congrats it’s brilliant! I didn’t even see it there at first! I wonder how much I miss in a day with my 3year old tugging at my arm all the time… he’s lucky he’s cute.

  7. I have quite a big room for music and, yes, I am still exploring the different genres. I feel like dancing with this song. I will add this to my “Pump Up the Volume” playlist (a.k.a. playlist for working out).

    Who is the artist?
