Thursday’s Special: Opposites

Opposites attract, but the like-minded last.
The world is full of opposites… show me the ones that you’ve noticed, and if you are in the mood share your favourite “opposite” quote.

Shooting birds on the lake

I wasn’t the only one with a “Canon” that day. Two more people were aiming at restless flyers… I know it is not an excuse, but here I come bringing pictures….

Today Jo is showing us London by moonlight. A beautiful site indeed with some great dining too.

Thursday’s Special: A Snap i.e. Artu

Artu was kept in a cage on a hill overlooking Varenna on lake Como. The sun was coming down  and the bars were blocking the view, so I had to come very close. Unlike Regina who screamed her lungs out at the site of me and other impertinent tourists, Artu just gave me this dumbfounded look.

**About Thursday’s Special: It is a ‘non-challenge’ challenge that appeals to bloggers eager to wake up their creativity and show their own ideas and interpretation of the world. I invite everybody interested to join in. There are no themes, titles and techniques set for your expression, there are no limits and restrictions (no red tape whatsoever). The only thing required is to post a photo post on Thursdays entitled “Thursday’s Special: (your theme/title)” (as explained in my Thursday’s Special introductory post), to provide a link to my Thursday’s Special post, and to leave a link to your post in the comments section of my post. If you like Thursday’s Special widget, feel free to grab it and post it on your blog.

Thursday’s Special: Pepezela! Yebo! i.e. Get me out of here! Yes!

Regina is a Ferruginous Buzzard that found its home on the hamlet of Vezio overhanging Varenna on the shores of Lake Como in Italy.

She spends most of her time caged in, and that’s where I found her on a late Summer afternoon screaming her lungs out and begging to be let go….

Weekly Photo Challenge: CREATE (revised edition)

I am not much of a crafts person, but still some months ago I came up with a creation for the purposes of two subjects weekly challenge theme. For those interested in my crafts abilities I suggest to check out the link  Two Subjects.

This time I am not feeling particularly creative and as we all know you can’t force art, so I decided on a different take on “create” as in “create a mess”, and I am presenting you my feathery neighbour creating a mess on my balcony. I have been told that we all have problems with neighbours, but this one is really giving me headaches.
