A couple of weeks ago I incindentally started posting black & white photos on Sundays. Now, I have decided to make it a habit and here it is – a scene from my all time favourite mountain lake Braies (in Dolomites).
Te agradezco mucho Ilargia, y te voy a creer :).
Incredible Paula, this is a magnificent image it’s absolutely beautiful and I love landscape images in monochrome, for me they work so well. Have a great day π
How can one resist such a mighty picture like that…Oh, mountains. You always fuel my feet and muse.
Black and white have this exquisite appeal that just make the subject in a photo more dramatic. They give this certain form of subtlety that is simply attractive.
It’s a good idea to regularly post black & white photos. I think I’ll copy your idea.
B&W makes you see the photos with a different mindset. Great image you’ve posted.
Sorry, sorry, sorry I forgot you were a Norwegian beauty. Here is a kyss and if you teach me I will give you a Norwegian hug too :). You make me smile – every time xo
Do you do the HDR combination before you convert to B&W or after? I use two different programs in the NIK package for this, and tend to do the HDR first, then convert the completed HDR with Silver Efex Pro. I am never totally satisfied.
This one is an old photo taken by canon ixus and it was only an jpg. I did hdr in post processing, but it was a good photo to start with. Now when I use my canon rebel I tend to do bracketing.
I love how you put something else in your photos. This photo of the mountains and lake gives the mind a story to play with in the placement of the boat in the photo. Intuitive, Paula!
I wish I had been the one to drag that boat into the frame, but it was just lying there π Thank you dear Annie. I agree it is an eye-catching photo and very popular among my readers π
WoW!!!! It is beautiful!!!! Looks like a painting!!!
