Thursday’s Special: Where Words Fail, Music Speaks

The scene takes me to Lago di Piano, a small lake close to Lago Lugano in Italy. Words were superfluous. Music was the only thing that could complement the setting sun over the still lake.

Aldo dedicated this song to Angelina, his grandmother, but I dedicate this post to a dear blogger, Sylvia from adinparadise.wordpress.com.

**About Thursday’s Special: It is a ‘non-challenge’ challenge that appeals to bloggers eager to wake up their creativity and show their own ideas and interpretation of the world. I invite everybody interested to join in. There are no themes, titles and techniques set for your expression, there are no limits and restrictions (no red tape whatsoever). The only thing required is to post a photo post on Thursdays entitled “Thursday’s Special: (your theme/title)” (as explained in my Thursday’s Special introductory post), to provide a link to my Thursday’s Special post, and to leave a link to your post in the comments section of my post. If you like Thursday’s Special widget, feel free to grab it and post it on your blog.

  1. The best what I have seen and heard this morning, Paula! Your posts are a treat for heart and soul and especially for my sore eyes after so long working hours at night. All my feel good-colours are tucked into this capture, how lovely. 🙂

    • Dear Dina, may I ask what you work on, now? If you want to change the mood, i suggest you read my lighter piece of read – Women’s only 😉 Thank you, for you nice comment my dear friend. Stor klem, P.

      • I’m a nurse, working in the university clinic. Never short of work. I don’t have the fear that I’ll be without a job, never ever. As soon I put my feet on the ground in Germany, that’s where I’m most of the time, working endless long hours overtime, staff is always short. And it’s where I’m heading now, for the next 9 hours. 🙂 Your words make me rethink. I’m exhausted, yet I’m very privileged, living in 3 countries like Norway, Germany and England.
        Stor klem til deg, Paula

    • I am so curious 🙂 Thank you, Madhu. The view was sublime, but I could not get a clear view of the landscape for all the boats and that romantic fellow that was playing beautifully, so I decided to include him in my shot :). He stole my view, but then he became my view 😉

  10. Very inspiring post – the best inspiration is the one that you think is your own idea – read this post quickly, but came off it because my phone rang – then later made a post myself – so later again re-read yours and found out that it was the inspiration… 🙂 🙂

    • I am no angel, dear Julie :). I am a confused person lost in this huge community that very often gets misunderstood and hurt. Thank you for approving the idea. I am really grateful for your comment.

  13. My WP Reader has totally changed (and messed up) how I look at and comment on other’s blogs and it is now not just difficult but close to impossible. Not sure what the problem is but if you don’t see me around for a while until this hopefully gets fixed, that’s the reason. Sorry.

    • Hello Phil, I really don’t know what your problem with the reader is, but thank you for letting me know. I don’t rely on reader always, I come and pay a visit to people I know are out there 😉

Love you.
