Thank you 🙂
I love the B&W with this lovely photo.
Many thanks dear Janet 🙂
Ancient architecture. Nice shot Paula!
I think you would find Croatia really charming and exotic 🙂 Thank you, Max 🙂
I bet I would. Hopefully I get to visit Croatia with my family some day.
Here’s my interpretation of the challenge this week: http://cardinalguzman.wordpress.com/2014/04/04/weekly-photo-challenge-threshold/
Paul a raison :D.
Merci Julie 🙂
Stunning picture if history can only talk.Amazing architect .Jalal
Thank you for your kind words dear Jalal. Blessings to you.
Love love love this! Such atmosphere.
I am so flattered to hear this Meghan. Thank you 🙂
Beautiful photo as always Paula! Love the black and white! You also caught this at a really great angle!
Cool capture – wonderful architecture… 🙂
Istria is our little Tuscany 🙂 Thank you, Drake.
You have an ‘h’ missing, Paula, but I love your wonderfully sturdy threshold with its ‘torn edges’ 🙂
Have a happy weekend!
I appreciate this a lot Jo. I am so tired and have a very bad eyesight the whole day 😦 Thank you hun.
Migraine again? Try to relax this weekend, Paula. The jobs will wait, and the blog too. I’m off to Glasgow for the day tomorrow. Just me being impetuous and feeding the restless creature. Take care. Gentle hug.
I am happy for you Jo. You sound completely recovered. This is a bad season for me (migraines and allergy) plus I have several jobs at the time – fear is too great to refuse any possibility of work…. So I work most weekends.
I feel very ungrateful, but I guess your turn will come, Paula. I hope so 🙂
Thank you Jo. Have fun tomorrow 🙂

wow! great photo, paula. the black and white really draws out the textures and contrast of the stones. love the timeless feel of it, too. this could have been taken today, or 80 years ago.
This was taken a few years ago ;), and I believe it is much older than 80 years 😉 Thank you so much Stephen. Always a pleasure to see you here 🙂
That door is very inviting. Love the shot Paula.
😀 You are a brave man Draco, but I knew that already 😉 I am happy you visited. Thank you. Enjoy the weekend!
Anna, I am sorry for not keeping in touch, and I miss you but it is all my fault, and I still need to check out the posts you posted recently. I am going through a lot now, and you know how it can feel. I think so often of you and your son ….
Paula, I’m so glad you still remember me, but I see you’re busy and worried…..
My BEST wishes for the better, I love you, Paula!

All stone villages are so rare these days. This is like a time capsule photograph to me.
🙂 I know, and though they still can be found in some parts of my country I feel the same. Thank you for your comment, Allan 🙂
Nice interpretation of the Threshold theme! Looks like a very old place.
As for me, I was out looking for photographs reflecting the Halloween theme last October and came across this interesting Threshold. You’re welcome to come and see what my take on this week’s theme is:
Wow, beautiful Paula. So many ideas behind each doorway…
Hope to see the original for this, Paula. Or did you post it before?
Thank you for asking Rommel. You can see the original in this gallery 🙂 https://bopaula.wordpress.com/2013/12/09/going-back-in-time/
I really like the tweak, but sorry to say that I prefer the original. Either way, you really capture the sense of past on the image.
Outstanding shot! Well done.

Superb atmospheric shot Paula!
I imagine there’s loads of history in a place like that 🙂
Nice atmospherical shot! Love the greys
Very nice texture in this photo, and the absence of color adds to its drama. Agree with you about quick likes!
Love this shot, Paula! Sorry to hear about your bad eyesight. Hope you have a resting weekend.
Very nicely done Paula.
Incredibly beautiful! Just a lovely image and setting
Lovely image, Paula. and I enjoyed the song too. 🙂

Fabulous! I love the mood…simply to enjoy and let it sink in, almost becoming a part of the photo. Not wondering where the stairs would take or what is behind the corner but enjoying the moments of being there… 🙂
