  2. You have an ‘h’ missing, Paula, but I love your wonderfully sturdy threshold with its ‘torn edges’ 🙂

      • Migraine again? Try to relax this weekend, Paula. The jobs will wait, and the blog too. I’m off to Glasgow for the day tomorrow. Just me being impetuous and feeding the restless creature. Take care. Gentle hug.

        • I am happy for you Jo. You sound completely recovered. This is a bad season for me (migraines and allergy) plus I have several jobs at the time – fear is too great to refuse any possibility of work…. So I work most weekends.

  7. wow! great photo, paula. the black and white really draws out the textures and contrast of the stones. love the timeless feel of it, too. this could have been taken today, or 80 years ago.

    • This was taken a few years ago ;), and I believe it is much older than 80 years 😉 Thank you so much Stephen. Always a pleasure to see you here 🙂

  8. la photo a un air complètement intemporelle en noir et blanc, ça lui donne beaucoup de charme, comme le charme d’une vielle dame

  13. Very nice texture in this photo, and the absence of color adds to its drama. Agree with you about quick likes!

  16. Fabulous! I love the mood…simply to enjoy and let it sink in, almost becoming a part of the photo. Not wondering where the stairs would take or what is behind the corner but enjoying the moments of being there… 🙂
