Monday Walk in Montmartre

I used to post a single photo on Mondays to remember all the nice places I visited, and to make my return to the office easier, but since Jo started inviting us to post a series of photos for her Monday walk, I have been trying to compile a gallery that would recreate walks I took on my holidays and days-off. I hope you’ll enjoy this stroll through the most romantic part of Paris – Montmartre. You can also listen to a newer version of the famous La Boheme (originally sung by Charles Aznavour). Happy Monday to all visitors!

  1. Such a beautiful city and the architecture. Great shots. And I love the music. I may have to put on one of my hotel costes or cafe de flore cds. πŸ™‚

    • Hmm, I haven’t heard of those- I am familiar only with Cafe del mar :D. Thanks for recommendation πŸ™‚

    • πŸ™‚ I am sure you and your wife will find the way to Paris eventually πŸ™‚ Thank you kindly Allan.

  2. I’m flattered that you went to so much trouble, Paula. They are a lovely compilation πŸ™‚ Thank you so much for your company. Have a good week! It’s a Bank Holiday here this coming Monday and I may be chasing Roman soldiers if the weather cooperates.

  4. I didn’t see this one until now! Busy days, busy days. Wonderful shots Paula. This is a beautiful gallery and I recognize some of the photos.

    • Yes, you have seen the view of Basilica Sacre Coeur (from a side) before and the photo of one of its towers. These are my favourite shots of Paris and I had to make different versions of them πŸ˜‰

  6. Great architecture in Paris and you have shown some lovely angles. Are you using HDR processing? It is very effective on the Sacre Coeur.
Jude – popping in from Jo’s Walks for a walk in Montmartre πŸ™‚

    • Hi Jude πŸ™‚ I do use HDR sometimes. Here I used it on the shot of the street, but not on Sacre Coeur. Thank you for your visit and comment.

  7. Beautiful shots and angles. I will be there in September…my first trip to Paris. Am glad you participated in Jo’s Walk using these images.
