It is “Heart of Courage” by “Two Steps from Hell”. I am not sure if it was used in films, but it was used in London 2012 Olympic games athletics finals. Thank you for the visit, Stephen π Much appreciated π
I like your minimalist approach – I’m like the waterfalls at PlitviΔka and the gold in the Royal Castle in Warsaw – excessive! And I love the way photography captures absolutely that one moment. (I just wanted to click “like” as I sip wine on a terrace in Dubrovnik, but I didn’t dare!)
The Magellan. Just opposite where I stayed. What was it like growing up In Dubrovnik? Were you inside the wall? Were you there in 91? I cried when visited the remembrance room and saw all the photos of young men killed.
Oh yes! I’ve shot so many swans, ducks and geese that I no longer shoot them unless I can make a picture that I’m most satisfied with. You have created a shot that is certainly one that I would be proud of. Nicely done, Paula!
now how could one photo be so moving??? well make it a great shot and add some amazing music – and the post becomes so moving – well done – and thx. π
We’ve captured your nice weather! But don’t worry- it’ll only be for a day or so then we’ll give it back π
Doesn’t matter where you play, so long as you’re happy.
wow! that’s a great shot, paula. i really like the red in the bill pops! the music sounds like it’s from a soundtrack.

You are in Dubrovnik now? I grew up there. What terrace is that, a hotel one or in a cafe in old town???

It was special. I still think it is the most beautiful town I have ever seen. I moved away in 1985, so I wasn’t there when the war started.
