Whenever the light of the full moon causes the blue light to appear the young men of the village are lurred to their deaths, climbing the mountain in vain attempts to learn the secret of the light …

Hello dear Lisa… the region of Dolomites is full of legends and stories. This was the site of some battles in WWII, but also there is a story I’ve heard that was used as a synopsis for a film from 1932. You can see more in my reply to Mofman 😀

Hi Paula. I’m behind on my commenting and blogging again. The summer is finally here, so we have to enjoy it as much as we can for the few days that it lasts before autumn and winter returns 🙂
Great shot and I like your explanations to Allan & Lisa. I was wondering about the same thing.
You should join Leanne & Laura’s ‘Monochrome Madness’. You could send them your weekly Sunday photo after you’ve posted it here.

I gave it a thought 🙂 I am very busy these days and my B/W Sunday is an event in itself, so I will not link it further to other black and white challenges. When I started it I conceived it as a challenge just for myself, and then other people stepped in asking me to make a challenge with widget out of it. So, as you see I am quite happy with the way things are. I am sorry but sometimes there is no room for more interaction here.
