    Absolutely stunning landscape image, Paula 🙂

    I really wish I could hike right up there to the edge and have a look at the scenery below….

    And I could spot an interesting man made structure there at the bottom right corner? Is it a hotel or something?

      I did not go to the other side. The access was made possible only by boats, so I can’t tell. Corsica has stunning landscapes. I wish I could go there again. Thank you, Sreejith 🙂

    Bonjour Paula, j’ai du retard partout, même sur mes commentaires sur mon blog 🙂
    Quelles belles strates géologiques, j’aime beaucoup et cela m’intéresse. Je suis étonnée que la photo a été prise en Corse. Je ne connais pas du tout l’île, c’est très cher pour y aller. Une superbe photo pour laquelle j’ai voté 🙂 La mienne je la mettrai ce soir en France-Bordeaux, j’ai déjà choisi quelques unes 🙂

    What beautiful geological strata, I love and it interests me. I am surprised that the photo was taken in Corsica. I don’t know anything about the island, it’s very expensive to go there. A great photo and I voted for it 🙂 I will put tonight France-Bordeaux, I have chosen a few 🙂
    I corrected the translation of google, I don’t know if that’s correct ? I learned English to my 20 years old and after nothing more.

      Salut Genevieve 🙂 Merci bien pour tes compliments. Tu devrais visiter la Corse – c’est une ile magique – si tu veux quand tu as du temps tu peux voir d’autres photos de Corse (mon “menu”-travel- Corsica). Je reviendrai voir ton “edge” 🙂

      You are asking about temperature when I took this? It was in September 2013 – I think 27 of September, somewhere around 4 pm. The temperature was 29 Celsius. This week it is cold here too – 4 Celsius – which is inhumanly cold for me.

    It had to be Corsica, and it’s a superb shot, Paula. You were on the cliff top, further round the bay? I’d like to be there right now. Well- maybe it’s wet there too 🙂 🙂 There must be similar landscapes along your own Croatian coast?

            Weather…SAD…general grumpiness…I’m a surly sod at times. Apologies. 😦
            And M-R has advised me that I load my photos incorrectly. I take criticism VERY badly. But I can laugh at myself 🙂

              What, where, how is that you load them incorrectly. I got mad at my friend yesterday just cause he said my animal shots are not as good as my other shots (and animals are sacred to me) – grrr. M-R is all about tough love!!! Thank you for thinking of my hand and you are right. Today I cursed and raised my voice at my director for the first time in 12 years – it was ugly.

                Oh heck- I know you worry for your job! Cool down 🙂 🙂
                I load them straight into my posts instead of Add Media, and don’t change the ‘link’ to read ‘none’ so if you hit on an image you can’t magnify it. Might be a good thing- I don’t want eagle eyes spotting too many faults 🙂 🙂 She meant it kindly and has offered to show me the error of my ways. It’s ok- I like sulking now and then. 🙂 Take care!

                  Oh that… there is no correct or incorrect way; it is a matter of personal preference. One might chose to want their photos zoomed in or not. I don’t know if I would be offended by a comment like that but I would try to prove my point no matter what. Anyway, I am too busy for blogger arguments.. I have lost many supposed friends at this place that we both know, so my feelings for WordPress are rather ambiguous.

                    I know what you mean, but I still feel I have been enriched by the WordPress experience. It was my own fault. M-R wrote a post about the ‘correct’ way to do it and I responded in ignorance. (my usual state 🙂 ) She was actually very nice and said she would love to be able to enlarge my photos. Mad woman! 🙂 🙂 Thanks for helping put the smile back Bye for now.

                    I don’t want to upset anyone by joining in a conversation I only half understand, but can I just say that I really like to enlarge a good image to full size so I can appreciate it fully. I don’t understand why you would link an image to ‘none’. I sometimes use galleries on my site, but then get disappointed at how many people click on them – they prefer to look at the small tiled thumbnails. I try not to get upset and put it down to lack of time, rather than lack of interest!

                      I think the same as you, Annette. I read that woman’s post today, and I don’t know what her problem is. Anyway, nobody is going to tell me how to link to my own photos; if she doesn’t like it, good riddance. I think you and I will get on just fine. I hate superficiality of any kind, and unfortunately this media makes people (allows them) to perfect that characteristic. Warm greetings to you, Annette.

    You’ve done it with light and darkness again: it’s a lovely parallel to the dappled horse and flowers.
    It sounds as if your life has more darkness than light right now. Can you take at least small comfort from the huge pleasure your photographic artistry gives me?
