  3. I would love to be able to photograph flame so beautifully and subtly, Paula. As the year ends, thank you for all the pleasures you have given me since I met you and for a precious cyber-friendship. I hope 2015 treats you gently and generously. We head home tomorrow – expect to be there on NY eve. I’ll meet you again in the new year.

  7. Your candle and flame shots are always really beautiful, Paula – this one is exceptional! Love to see the moment when something so fragile is fleeting, yet its presence is still so powerful. The moment after or the moment before – I think it depends on the perspective we look from, doesn’t it? 🙂
It has been a true pleasure to get to know you through the year, Paula, and I am looking forward the further “exploration of this path” also in future. 🙂 I hope you had a wonderful Christmas, and I want to wish you a Happy New Year with your hopes and dreams coming true. Hugs, Ese

  11. Very nice. I prefer this blown out, smokey, black & white compared to the coloured version you posted in your last post.

      1. I’m sure that I have suitable photos, but I’m sick (fever & infections) and I’m just catching up on unread blogs and comments today. It’s so typical: you have holidays, you get sick. The worst part is that I’ve been like this for 7 days now (and my holiday started 9 days ago).

        1. I have seen it! I have seen photos that I have missed before. Thank you, Yvette. I appreciate that you have shared this with me. As for the musical choice here, I will let you in on a secret: many times I enclose the info in tags: The Appleseed Cast: On Reflection 😉
