I just love this, the dappled bird on a dappled path. Lovely.

Paula, I know what you mean. With the beauties of spring all around and a relatively new (3 months) part time job, I have to make choices and I opt for more time outside and with my husband. But I try to cram in as much blogging, both posting (daily) and visiting as I can.

I also like the interpretation.

Too young to be squawking like the rest of the gulls just yet.

I like the way you processed this, desaturation on the edges? or was this shot this way? Nice either way.

Fantastic photography and most ingenious theme interpretation. Seagull young just out of the nest early in it’s bird life ergo early bird. 🙂

Waiting for some food? Usually you get about 20 gathering around you here, when you eat at the beach.

But how do you know he was early? Maybe he was late for a previous evening engagement? You can never be sure with seagulls 🙂 You made me laugh. Thank you.

I love the look on its face. Is it saying “OK, I’m the early bird, but where’s the worm?” I’m going to do a word early bird, in black and white what’s more! My best early-birding was being early enough to beat the crowds at Plitvička and having all those waterfalls to myself for maybe two hours.

Wow, what time did you get there? Do you remember where you stayed when at Plitvička?

That’s reasonably priced. How far from the National park are they? Did the room price include the entrance fee?

Maybe a kilometre. No it didn’t include entrance fee, but it was the whole house. I was probably down to catch the ferry somewhere between 7 and 8. And all that’s a year ago.
