Definitely a sense of motion here, Paula. Well done.
Thank you very much Janet 🙂

Good shot, Paula.
Grazie Stefano 🙂
You always capture animals so well I want to name them 🙂

A dashing sense of movement, wings and water!

🙂 obrigada Nuno. Como dizes “swan” em portugues?
como en espanhol 😀 Obrigada querido
De nada. 😉
Very well captured… 🙂
Takk Drake! 🙂
This is a challenge I wouldn’t contemplate attempting. My motion shots turn into blur. However, yours has the lovely sharpness of a captured moment: the lifted wings, the intent look, the water held in splash, and then the slightly rippled water behind. You also know how to crop to perfection.
(I’m very envious of your multilinguality, by the way. The closest I get is a trilingual daughter, and bilingual grandchildren.)
🙂 thank you Meg. Learning languages makes me happy. It is never to late to learn a few languages.
A beautiful capture, Paula! Perfect! 🙂
This is stunning. I am still trying. My reflexes are just too slow.
Awww, thank you, Raewyn 🙂
Nicely captured, Paula. Motion in motion. 🙂
Magnificent! What a beautiful bird and a wonderful capture too!
I appreciate your comment John 🙂
What I like most is how the splashes of water have been frozen. Nice.
Thanks Bob 🙂
Poetry in motion! 🙂 Are you well, Paula?
Thank you for asking Jo. I am great.
Great swan! Beautiful photograph.
Wonderful capture, Paula. I love the take offs and landings of the larger birds (swans, pelicans and geese). Take off like they’re walking on water and land like they’re water skiing.
Thank you very much Chuck. I’m happy you found this post.
Takeoff or landing? either way, excellent catch
Takeoff 🙂 Thanks a bunch Tina 🙂
amazing beauty. what a capture
Love this – great shot.
Thank you very much Leya
What a nice shot, Paula. I also like the song. It’s got a cheerful melody. Thanks for sharing! Have a great day! 😀
Thank you, Ana.
Stunning entry Paula!
I was thinking of you the other day .. how long it has been since we visited. I hope you are well, Colline. I will drop by….
I took a long break Paula because I ran out of time each day. The course I was following is now completed and I am now rested and ready to blog again 🙂
I’m happy to hear you are well, Colline. It seems that we both got busy at the same time 🙂 I look forward to catching up with you.
Me too 🙂
Big beautiful wings. I wish that I had them.
😀 Magnificent creatures 🙂
