Minuscule is today’s photo theme, minuscule like for example condensed moisture drops on a water of bottle (ooops I meant a bottle of water)

  27. […] This challenge has a really life tie-in for me. As I have been looking for part-time work, because my wife is a full-time nursing student, I have been hyper-aware of the “small stuff”. This week I filled out an application and turned it in but the pen I choose was leaving little drops of wet ink as I wrote. To someone else this may not have been an issue but to me it was. Or put another way: to some one else it was a small thing , a minuscule detail of no import. To me: Lack of detail, sloppiness and not putting my best foot forward.Since I feel Paula’s spirit of graciousness does not sweat the small stuff here is my Thursday’s Special: Minuscule. […]

  31. Thanks for this challenge, Paula – and that’s what it really was: Two ideas came to mind, one of them did not yet pan out (I was not in the right place at the right time for the right light), but the other one can be seen here: http://empireoflights.com/2015/08/09/minuscule-endeavours/ How many people walk past those fancy little compositions without noticing, I wonder. By the same token, I think for most passers-by I was just photographing walls. I am looking forward for the next challenges (“deconstruction”, in particular). Have a nice Sunday!

    1. Thank you, Tobias. I’m glad that you liked the challenge. Deconstruction will be on for sure, but I don’t know when exactly – maybe close to the end of year.
