– The best way to seize the time is to stop looking at your watch (my quote).

I couldn’t agree more Paula. Looking at your watch every five minutes does encourage you to think that time marches on slowly!

So true. Many people don’t even wear a watch anymore. Just look at your cel.
Picture is precious Paula. Putting together two (un)related things is poetry.
The hand from an (independent) sculpture with the clock.
Brilliant.
Bon week-end.

That’s a beautiful composition, Paula. The positioning of those hands convey an intense sense of helplessness and exasperation. In today’s hectic, restless and fast paced world aimed at being more and more ‘productive’, we end up being overworked, over stressed and overburdened. And life often gets reduced to a race against time. Personally, I see this image as an expression of this fact. For me, this is one of your best images 🙂

I like the composition Paula with the 2 hands reaching out to capture time, and love your original quote, as some one else commented above, now I am retired I do not wear a watch, but I still find myself watching the time, a habit I can’t break

I am smiling imagining you crouching on a sidewalk or bench. I can often be found in some rather interesting pose trying to get just the right angle. 🙂

Thank God, I did not have to crouch. I still can’t do it, Sue, and I am not sure when I will be able to take stairs either up or down. It has been really hard these past six months with my knee, and I only dared to take my camera outside some weeks ago.
