BRAVING THE ELEMENTS WITH GRACE

This has been a month of watching/cleaning snow and reading Russian novels. Winter has been at its worst in the last 54 years or so they say, and besides enormous work load I did not get to do much of anything but the usual chores.

Still I hope you will enjoy my walk or should I say waltz in the snow.

  2. She looks so at home there in the snow, Paula. 🙂 It’s stunningly beautiful and I can imagine gliding around on the ice to that music (not me personally! I’m much too clumsy 🙂 ) I hope you find a little grace this weekend. Thank you so much.

    1. Thank you, Jo. This is my favourite waltz 🙂 I am planning to gracefully lie the whole weekend, well except for cooking. You wouldn’t believe, but typing/translating for long hours has put a strain on my arm and it is swollen. I need to give it a rest the time I can. That’s why I was cheeky enough to multi-challenge. Have a great weekend, Jo!

  3. Such a lovely waltz- poor Anna Karenina in the cold snow. She is so pretty though.

    1. 🙂 She doesn’t mind it. The whiteness only accentuates her naturally red cheeks 😀

  4. So amazing to hear of the snow in so many places in Europe where it has not been for half a century. Should you need any snow shovelling tips I am well versed! 🙂

    1. No, not a tip, but a pair of hardworking hands!

      1. Oh I would love it. Here those who are able to shovel for others are called snow angels. I would love to pop over and be one for you!

    1. Thank you dear Suzanne. It is hard to imagine :). It looks beautiful and romantic until one has to go out and move through town 🙂

      1. That’s my thoughts on snow too. I have only seen it a few times – it looks lovely but it is cold and wet. I decided I’m am quite happy to live without it. Keep warm 🙂

  9. Love it! Dancing is something I truly enjoy (we went to a ball yesterday) – and your photo appeals to me through its scarceness (?) of colours. Nice entry for the challenge, too! Have a great Sunday… work-free and with no more snow than is enjoyable.
