  2. Is this the norm? Or was an event going to happen. Do you know Paula?
    I like the first photo – really powerful as it suggests the police are a part of the environment.

    1. I captured these two years ago during some demonstrations, but this March there were some troubles too with attempted robberies and later on when I had already left some suspects were arrested on the suspicion of a planned attack.

  7. Is this normal in Venice or was something happening that they have the riot shields at the ready. It might give the residents of Venice a sense of security but it puts a real sense of unease into my being.
