Wow, so beautiful captured!
A very dramatic image.
How beautiful your photo is Paula- it looks like it could be used for a book cover or movie.
How beautifully caought, Paula. I love Tenerife – we often went in the 90’s and hiked in the Teide area.
Phew! What a stunner.
That’s a striking shot, Paula, and just perfect in b&w.
I love your choice of nature rather than architecture – now I have my thinking hat on to be a bit different this week too.
I thought of something small, local and unusual as an object of the past.
Volcanoes are quite the things these days. They seem to be popping up all over the world! We live in a very quiet area as far as earthquakes and volcanoes go, but even here where the hills are old and worn from the years of rain and wind, we have an occasional little ground shaker. It is easy to forget that the earth is not “finished” and she still has more to do! You are my brain teaser of the day!

Greetings, Paula. Your superb sea-ex-volcano study inspired me to more off-beat thoughts this time too.
Oh, great capture, Paula….I’ll set to finding something
Hi Jan, The White Night dates are yet to be released for 2018. However I have looked back over past dates and the dates from the past 3 years have been on the third Saturday of February: 21/02/2015, 20/02/2016, 18/02/2017. So I can”t confirm the dates for 2018, but if the trend tells us anything, it may be on the 17th of February 2018. If you want to book accommodation now to lock something in, you can book through Booking.com here with the option to change the dates if need be. Just check for rooms that offer “free cancellation. Kind regards, Jess
Great capture Paula!!!
