THURSDAY’S SPECIAL: PICK A WORD – DECEMBER 2022

Dear friends and followers 🙂

Thank you for giving my posts and challenges yet another year of attention. I am happy to be able to share my world in images and words with you. For the last challenge this year I am proposing the following 5 words and as usual you may join by participating with one of them, several or all.

This time not in alphabetic order, but to make more impact my choices are:

TRIBUTE

WADING

TOWNSCAPE

HARBOUR

BOKEH

Tribute (this statue is a tribute to the painting Las Meninas by Diego Velázquez)
Wading
Townscape
Harboured
Bokeh (for me this one is an allegory for bubbly, happy people)

May the next year bring calm and happy days!

  3. I had never noticed that your words were in alphabetical order and I sorted mine alphabetically this time because I couldn’t find a theme for them without knowing. 😄 My flamingo photos (all taken in zoos or parks) cannot compete with yours – it’s magnificent. But I have a baby flamingo on offer. https://picturesimperfectblog.wordpress.com/2022/12/29/five-picks-in-alphabetical-order/

  6. Such wonderful photos. Like everyone else, the Flamingos is a real stunner. It was so funny that I thought of popping in photos of Rovinj for Harbour and Toledo for Townscape.
I do hope next year will be much better for you Paula xx

  10. I love this challenge because it truly IS a challenge 😀 I’ve had fun with your choice of words this month, as usual, and enjoyed seeing your interpretations. Like most people I think the townscape is my favourite, closely followed by the flamingos. I’ve opted for flamingos too – I hope you think they’re sufficiently different from yours! https://www.toonsarah-travels.blog/gallery-pick-a-word-december/
