In a stack of my childhood photos there is one very dear to me. A photo of my mule that was once very valuable to my family, and which today makes part of my most treasured memories. Remembering your roots, knowing where you come from, and cherishing all the love you received on your way – that is valuable. Thank you for the challenge…
I am not much of a crafts person, but still some months ago I came up with a creation for the purposes of two subjects weekly challenge theme. For those interested in my crafts abilities I suggest to check out the link Two Subjects. This time I am not feeling particularly creative and as we all know you can’t force art, so I decided…
Hey guys, I am on the roll here… two nominations in one day – this should flatter anyone – and my second nomination for the Versatile Blogger Award. Dear pinay e-motion I am sorry to be a disappointment, but I have already declined the same generous award a few weeks ago, and what matters to me most is that you enjoy what I have to…
Thank you Renee and Pallas for the nomination. You guys are great, and I really appreciate your gesture, but I have to refuse this one just as I did not so long ago with the Versatile Blogger Award. Thank you for keeping in touch and visiting my blog. This one is for you 🙂 11 – Heart of Gold (click on the link on the left…
A few days ago I tried to take some macro shots with a pre-lens for my Canon PowerShot G1 x, and I saw this week’s theme as an opportunity to show them off ;). Here are some green close-ups taken at my town, and here is some music too 🙂 04 – A Man Called Adam With Eddie Parker Easter Song (click on the link…
Once again Ms Rosso made me do something I had never done before. The weekly challenge said: “friendship” so I grabbed my camera and went for a tour of my neighbourhood. It is the first time that I took a shot at street photography and not being looked suspiciously upon, or being scolded as a stalker, I have to admit I had fun taking…
I might have got carried away here by posting several photos, all taken in the Alps that seems my favourite place to be… up in the air, closer to the skies one gets a different perspective on life. I don’t think these photos are something to be admired by photographic professionals, but they are my memories, and looking at them makes me smile.
This photo was taken above Lake Iseo in Italy at a village called Zone that is famous for erosion pyramids I have already shown in my post “Memories from Italian Lakes”.
I almost gave up on this week’s photo challenge, but I stumbled upon this photo taken last winter on Gozo on the Maltese archipelago. It was taken with hubby’s Canon 450 and a wide angle lens. It will be a while though before I am ready to take photos as good as Jeff Sinon‘s. Thank you for your support Jeff ;).
