A very elegant creation, and nicely contrast in B/W.
I recently shot a statue of Gandhi covered in fresh snow that I have yet to post-prod into high contrast B/W.

She looks a bit sad, but she shouldn’t: because the photo is great.
I think that she needs a Sexy Sunday (not really a B&W post, but pretty close): http://artishorseshit.wordpress.com/2014/03/16/greek-sexy-sunday-11/

Very nice choice for B&W Paula. 🙂 I think I’ll see her as relaxing instead of feeling sad…

I like the way you have shot this Paula. The focus is on the statue and yet we are able to see where she has been placed.
