It’s a photograph for wanderers the world over! Looking at it, who doesn’t want to cross that bridge? It’s superb, Paula! The clarity of that shadow- I really love it. Thank you so much for thinking of me. I opened my Reader, unsuspecting, to your lovely image. Yes, I have crossed this bridge but it was not a happy occasion. On the left bank of the Tagus river, opposite of Lisbon there is a sculpture (huge) similar to the sculpture in Rio of Christ. That’s where I took it from. Thank you very much, Marilyn. It is nice to know that you like it.

Hice un viaje a Lisboa con mis padres hace dos o tres años en verano, fuimos en coche y atravesamos este puente. Fue una impresión maravillosa: la anchura del rÃo, la luz del sol que se reflejaba en el agua, las dimensiones del puente y la estatua del Cristo Rei.
