Stunning photo, Paula. What gorgeous colours and reflections. I can see that it has traces in the past but good to see that is still with us in the present.
And I enjoyed the music – I listened as I went off to bed last night.
Have a wonderful trip to Veneto. I went to Padua many, many years ago and loved it (I stayed there as a cheap way of seeing Venice and was surprised at how wonderful it is in its own right), but apart from that I haven’t seen anything but Venice. I’ll enjoy seeing it through your images when you get back.
Happy relaxation!

Paula the weeks seem to fly by! Your prompt prompted me to write about my mother in law as I was reminded it is her birthday now. I hope you don’t mind.
How did you get the water to look like glass? What a stunning photo- but I think I told you that already! Hope you are well. Glad you are back

Why would I mind, Lisa. On the contrary I am glad the challenge prompted you to do so. Time flies, that’s for sure. I am busier now than before my holiday. The smooth surface is obtained with long exposure (using tripod). There were some obstacles on the water that I had to remove in post processing too.
