SUNDAY POST: Goals
Something keeps calling me to Italian lakes over and over again, and it shall be one of my goals for this summer. Hopeful to discover more places like Orta San Giulio I am enclosing a photo I took two summers ago.

Thank you Jake for making us think of our goals or in my case dreams ;). I’ve just realised this is my 100th post 🙂 I hope it is milestone-worthy.

I never made it to Orta, but would love to do so. This is such a fabulously wistful shot. I have no idea what my goals are for this year. Better give it some thought!

As I recall you came pretty close to Orta … it is a shame as I think it is the most beautiful lake in the area. I know that Como will not impress me as much as I am more inclined to less touristy and secluded places.

We were travelling with a small boy, one of whose loves was hydrofoils, and at the time I was simply delighted to be in the Italian Lakes. Now the small boy is grown …. and I know so much more about the world.

The places where you only meet the local people on their “home ground”
without too many tourists are the best experiences – in my eyes… 🙂

Just listening to it now, it is beautiful; sad but solemn and reverent with hope. To be quite honest it reflects my heart and soul, as I’m also sure that it reflects yours. The music is beautiful, and I could hear this at any time.:)
